Last updated: 21 August 2026
These terms cover the use of the Muxvox apps — Muxvox Desktop and Muxvox Remote — and this website. By installing or using the apps, you accept them.

Early access
Muxvox is currently in early access and free of charge. Features may change, and we may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the product as it matures. When paid plans launch, they will be announced on the pricing page; nothing you can use for free today will silently start charging you.
Your licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the apps for your own meetings — personal or within your organisation. You may not:
- resell, rent out or redistribute the apps or the download files;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the apps, except to the extent mandatory law expressly permits it;
- remove or obscure Muxvox branding or notices.
Using Muxvox responsibly
Muxvox turns phones into live microphones. You are responsible for using that lawfully:
- Only connect devices you own or are authorised to use, on networks you are authorised to use.
- Make sure the people in the room know their voices are being picked up and carried into the meeting, and obtain any consent that the laws that apply to you require — particularly where calls are recorded.
Intellectual property
The apps, this website, the Muxvox name, logo and brand assets are the property of Mountaineers Holding B.V. These terms transfer none of that to you beyond the licence above.
No warranty
The apps and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose. Audio quality and latency depend on your network, your devices and your acoustics, which are outside our control. Early-access software in particular may contain bugs.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mountaineers Holding B.V. is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of Muxvox — including missed meetings, lost recordings or network issues. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for Muxvox in the twelve months before the event (during free early access: nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy
How we handle data is described in the privacy policy. The short version: no accounts, no audio through our servers, no analytics.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will call it out on the site before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you a different venue.
